Hanley Wood Appoints New Publisher for BUILDER and BIG BUILDER Magazines

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - June 13, 2007) - Hanley Wood has named Jeff Calore as publisher of BUILDER and BIG BUILDER Magazines. The appointment underscores how the BUILDER Group of products is moving to fully integrate its media outlets and continue its leadership of the home construction industry.

Calore will manage the day-to-day duties involved in running BUILDER'S print, online and face-to-face media. BUILDER and BIG BUILDER are the leading magazines in residential construction. Together, they offer a wide array of content, including conferences, e-newsletters, online sites, and an annual house plans book.

Group Publisher Warren Nesbitt has been overseeing these products along with Hanley Wood's Multifamily Group. The company's continued growth made it necessary to create a new position.

Calore previously worked as a general manager and vice president of sales for the Virginia-based 1105 Media Government Information Group. His experience also includes management roles at CMP United Business Media and CMGI/Flycast Communications. Over the years, Calore worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies and gained experience in integrated media platforms, including custom publishing and research.
