HANZO and Ponto Frio Announce Mobile Coupon Campaign in Brazil


RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - July 7, 2008) - HANZO (www.HANZO.com.br), a Brazilian mobile aggregator, has launched today a mobile coupon campaign with Ponto Frio, the 2nd largest retailer of home electronics and appliances in the country. For the next ten days consumers will be able to send a text message with the keyword TECNOSHOW to a shortcode to receive a mobile coupon with special offers and conditions that can be redeemed at any of the 380 Ponto Frio Stores. The call to action will run on TV, billboards and in print media. It is the first time that Ponto Frio has included mobile in their marketing mix, and the first time a mobile coupon has been used by any retailer in Brazil.
