Hardy Filtration Out to Conquer New Markets!

TROIS-RIVIÈRES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 15, 2015) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced that Hardy Filtration Inc. has been granted financial assistance for the acquisition of equipment to facilitate the company's expansion into international markets.

This support is being awarded in the form of a $375,000 repayable contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

Quick facts

• Hardy Filtration Inc. manufactures and distributes air and water filters, custom dust bags for industrial machinery and water filtering cartridges designed primarily for the industrial sector.
• The funding from CED will enable the Trois-Rivières firm to launch a commercialization strategy aimed primarily at the United States and United Arab Emirates markets. It will also allow the company to acquire equipment such as an additional production line for pleated filters, to help increase its productivity and its production capacity.
• This assistance from the Government of Canada will help stimulate and diversify the Mauricie economy.
