Harmon Brothers Teaching Summit Announced

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 17, 2006 -- Butch Harmon Golf Events is scheduled to launch their inaugural Harmon Brothers Teaching Summit on November 6th, 2006. It is with great pride and pleasure that Butch, Bill and Craig Harmon announce that they will be conducting the inaugural Summit, in memory of their brother Dick who recently passed, in dedication to their Dad's devotion to the game of golf, and in celebration of his election into the World Golf Teachers Hall of Fame.

The Summit will be conducted on two parallel tracks: The PGA Instructors Seminar, with the theme being, "teaching the teachers," (11/06/2006-11/09/2006) and the Corporate VIP Seminar, (11/08/2006-11/11/2006). The PGA Instructors Seminar will have attendees from some of the most famous golf schools in the country, a collage of collegiate golf coaches, and PGA teaching professionals from several of the PGA Chapters. The VIP Seminar affords the opportunity for a Corporate Sponsor to issue invitations to their premier clients, to learn from and interact with some of the greatest talent in the world of golf, as a means to thank them for their loyalty and support.

The Harmon brothers will be joined by Scotty Cameron, Jimmy Ballard, Jim Hardy and Dr. Richard Coop, who will each conduct portions of the Teaching Summit. Butch Harmon states that, "we are very excited that the Summit will feature four of Golf Digest's TOP 25 Golf Instructors for 2005-2006."

The theme of the Summit will be to present different teaching philosophies and teaching techniques, some that may be considered "non traditional," "out-of-the-box" or even "radical" by many in the golf world. Bill and Craig Harmon were quoted as saying, "we'll show you what we Harmon brothers learned from our Dad, Claude Harmon, and in addition, how to grow your teaching business and increase your teaching revenues. Each attendee will receive our Teaching Summit Instructional Manual, a certificate of completion and, based on our discussions with the PGA, education points."

The Summit will be more than just two days of in-depth seminars; Butch Harmon pledges that the Summit staff will blend the instructional program with some good old-fashioned Las Vegas fun, beginning with our Welcome Cocktail Party (Monday nite). A clinic and exhibition will be conducted on Thursday at the Paiute Golf Resort, followed by a complimentary round of golf. The Summit closes with a dinner hosted by the Harmon Brothers at the Rio Hotel.

The Harmon Brothers look forward to personally meeting each and every one of you and answering any questions about golf instruction that you may have. The four days in Las Vegas will provide you with valuable information and the tools to improve your skills as a teacher of this great game.
