CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 3, 2012) - Today, the Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for Status of Women, held a roundtable discussion with industry on some of Public Works and Government Services Canada's (PWGSC) key strategic initiatives related to real property.
The roundtable gave Minister Ambrose the opportunity to engage Alberta stakeholders and hear their feedback on real property initiatives.
"The Harper Government supports the innovators that will drive the growth and job creation of the future," said Minister Ambrose. "That's why we're sitting down with Canadian industry to get their feedback on the best ways to continue our transformation, which leads to job creation and keeps the Canadian economy growing."
PWGSC manages one of the largest and most diverse real estate portfolios in the country. As the department strives for excellence, it relies on the private sector to enhance the way it delivers services to other departments and to Canadians. Industry engagement like the event held today is important in obtaining industry's feedback and will be valuable as PWGSC moves forward with its initiatives.
