Harte-Hanks Announces Promotion of Brian Dames to Corporate Vice President, Group Managing Director of Database Marketing and Analytics

Dames Will Continue to Lead Data Services That Help Database and Analytics Clients Surpass Their Multichannel Marketing Goals

LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD--(Marketwire - Sep 19, 2011) - Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS), a worldwide direct and targeted marketing company announced today that Brian Dames has been appointed corporate vice president, group managing director at Harte-Hanks. Mr. Dames will report directly to Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing president Gary Skidmore.

Mr. Dames becomes a corporate vice president and serves as the senior business leader for the company's database marketing and analytics businesses. He will maintain responsibility for the talented data services teams that apply successful strategies and corporate vision to drive business growth and surpass client expectations through sophisticated multichannel marketing programs that ensure a pinpoint focus on their end consumers. His organization has led several new solutions to market including Momentium™, Quickstart, and Data Capture -- all designed to assist marketers in building client-centric marketing strategies.

Since joining the company in 2007, Mr. Dames has been managing director in charge of data services and data solutions for Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing. His role has grown in the past few years, as he assumed responsibility for the data analytics business and database business -- a position he will retain. He had also served as chief marketing officer.

Prior to joining Harte-Hanks, Mr. Dames held marketing and senior management positions with Experian, Claritas, Ethnicgrocer.com, IXI Corporation, and Sears, Roebuck & Co. His two decades of experience spans retail, financial services, automotive, media, consumer products and telecommunications, among other markets. Dames holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
