Harte-Hanks Names Stephen Drees as Managing Director for Financial Markets

Executive Will Lead Company's Nationwide Financial Markets Business Development Serving Banks, Insurance, Securities and Investments, Mortgage, Credit Cards and Other Financial Institutions

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - June 11, 2007) - Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS), a worldwide direct and targeted marketing company, announced the appointment of Stephen Drees to the company as managing director for financial markets. Drees will lead the financial markets organization of Harte-Hanks which assists the company's clients in the financial services sector as they develop and implement direct marketing, database and customer optimization strategies.

"Stephen has more than 20 years' experience in all facets of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing," said Bill Goldberg, corporate officer and senior vice president, Harte-Hanks, who leads the company's national markets organization. "He has held executive marketing and product positions with Manufacturers Hanover, Mellon Bank, MasterCard and GE Capital. He also served as president of Quantum Loyalty Systems where he led the company twice to the Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest growing privately held companies. His knowledge and experience will help us serve our clients with excellence."

Most recently, Stephen served as president of The Allegiant Group -- a customer loyalty consultancy.

Drees is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a master of science degree in management. He also is a graduate of the Advanced Management College of Stanford University. He and his family reside in Greater Cincinnati.
