Harte-Hanks Promotes Randy Ilas to General Manager

Seasoned Executive to Lead Company's Technology Market Intelligence Division

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 1, 2012) - Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS), a worldwide direct and targeted marketing company, announced today that Randy Ilas has been promoted to general manager for Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence. Ilas will oversee development of Harte-Hanks database and market intelligence products and delivery systems, including the company's flagship products, the Ci Technology Database™ (CiTDB) and CiPipeline™ Lead Generation Service.

Prior to his promotion, Ilas served as Harte-Hanks' vice president of product development and marketing for eight years. Under his direction, the company has made significant advancements to its market intelligence and delivery systems including the expansion of the Ci Technology Database from 150,000 records to more than 4 million business locations and the launch of the Ci Pipeline lead generation service designed specifically to meet the needs of today's technology sellers.

Ilas has more than 15 years of experience in developing and marketing information products with companies such as DataQuick Information Systems and Claritas. As director of product development for DataQuick, Ilas led overall product development strategy of products aimed at research, marketing, valuation, and determining analytic needs of target markets. As business data product manager for Claritas, he integrated business aspects of the national business database product into a site analytics product line, and served as product manager for the company's economic forecasting product.

Ilas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Masters Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University. He is a frequent speaker at industry events including most recently DMA2011 and CommNexus San Diego.
