Harte-Hanks Promotes Susan Coyne, Philip Delaney to Key Positions in Its Digital Printing Business

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 16, 2005 -- Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS), a worldwide, direct and targeted marketing company, has made two key promotions in relations to its growing digital printing operations located here: Susan Coyne is named vice president, client services, specializing in print-on-demand and fulfillment solutions for the financial industry; and Philip Delaney is named vice president, print-on-demand services.

"As our digital print business has grown, both Sue and Philip have been instrumental in delivering data-based personalization solutions to clients that focus on ROI [return on investment]," said Jim Davis, corporate officer and senior vice president, Harte-Hanks.

Harte-Hanks implements digital print solutions for a variety of companies, among them New York Life, Banknorth and Merrill Lynch.

Sue Coyne has more than 12 years' experience in direct marketing and fulfillment. Having served at Harte-Hanks for the past eight years, she has managed several of the digital print facility's largest financial accounts, and now is responsible for all client relationships for digital print in East Bridgewater, MA. Harte-Hanks also offers digital print solutions in Jacksonville, FL.

"Sue is a trusted business advisor to our most valuable clients," said Davis, referring to print on demand. "She offers both strategic insight and intelligent recommendations to help meet client marketing objectives and goals."

Prior to joining Harte-Hanks, Coyne managed the operations administration group at First Image (now ADP) in Lynnfield, MA. Prior to that, she was an account manager at SalesLink. Coyne was graduated with a degree in English Communications from North Adams State College in North Adams, MA.

Philip Delaney, as vice president, print-on-demand services, oversees the digital print operations in East Bridgewater. During his three years in this Harte-Hanks business, he drove volume growth, as more clients, particularly in the financial area, integrated print on demand as part of their print solutions. Delaney has 13 years' experience in direct marketing communications and production -- and has held previous industry positions in client services, operations and sales. He is a graduate of Bentley College, with a bachelor of science degree in marketing.

"Philip also understands how variable print and other print-on-demand applications can deliver a significant lift to a client's communications plans," Davis said, justifying its investment. "As companies develop more customer-focused strategies in direct and database marketing, we have the state-of-the-art team and production in place to make these opportunities happen."
