Experts to Present Real-World Experience in Social CRM and Response Management

SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS) today announced that Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) will co-present at the Customer Response Summit II in Hollywood, Florida on May 11, 2011 at 1:45 p.m. EDT.

Carla Saavedra, digital content manager and social media strategist at Samsung Mobile, and Craig Meurer, director, CRM/technology solutions at Harte-Hanks, will lead a presentation titled "The 7 Critical Steps to Successful Social Support." Saavedra and Meurer will blend cutting-edge social media tactics with case study examples to shed light on the techniques needed to succeed in social customer relationship management (CRM) and response management. They will walk attendees through each phase of a social contact center program and will touch on important considerations including staffing, monitoring, quality assurance and the tools required for social interaction.

The presenters are both experts in social CRM and response management and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to this presentation. Meurer supports social media, web, CRM and contact center technology projects for Harte-Hanks' clients and serves on the executive committee for social strategies in the contact center. He has worked as a solution architect to deliver numerous online marketing programs for leaders such as IBM, Putnam, Texas Instruments and USPS. Meurer is also a frequent contributor to blogs, social networks and other online publications.

Saavedra is responsible for the design and implementation of Samsung Mobile's social media support strategy and is intimately involved in monitoring, training, quality assurance, and response processes as well as supporting best practices for other Samsung subsidiaries. Additionally, Saavedra has begun social media programs for various trade publications, including Occupational Health & Safety Magazine, eponline.com and Security Products.
