READING, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sep 13, 2011) - Trillium Software®, a business of Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE: HHS) and a leading enabler of Total Data Quality solutions, today confirmed the speakers for the Trillium Software EMEA User Group conference, taking place on Tuesday 27th September 2011 at Altitude 360 London, in the Millbank Tower, just beside The Houses of Parliament and The River Thames. The meeting is the 14th annual EMEA User Conference and Trillium Software welcomes new chairperson of the EMEA user group, Ms. Chimene Painter of HSBC Plc, as event host.

"The Trillium Software EMEA User Group Conference presents delegates with a great opportunity to network and learn from others' experiences, attend a range of business, technical and product sessions and engage in Q&A forums," said Ms. Painter. "Following an analyst keynote from The Information Difference, customer speakers from Barclays and Chaucer Syndicates will describe how they have successfully incorporated data quality into their data governance programmes."

The analyst keynote: "Benchmarking Data Governance" will be presented by Andy Hayler, president and CEO of The Information Difference. Andy will call upon in-depth data governance research, covering 134 organisations, to answer key questions concerning the costs of data governance, the benefits that can be expected and what are the best practices. From this research, he will also reveal some of the behaviours that lead to program success and what pitfalls can lead to failure.

Additional sessions offer delegates a great opportunity to:

  • Understand how to ensure business value from data quality and data governance programmes
  • Witness the latest developments to the Trillium Software System
  • Attend training sessions, including a technical forum on migrating from earlier versions
  • Pose more in-depth questions to a panel of experts

This year, there will be a strong focus on delivering business benefit from enterprise-wide data governance as well as compliance with the demands of regulatory authorities. Around 100 customer delegates are forecast to attend.

"The quality, reliability, security, accessibility, and usability of company data has a critical role to play in the effectiveness of today's organisations," said John Nicoli, managing director, Harte-Hanks Trillium Software. "Enterprise-wide data governance is now an essential discipline and we look forward both to learning from our customers' best practices and to sharing with them the insights of our own experienced team."
