HashiCorp Named a Cool Vendor in DevOps by Gartner

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 31, 2016) - HashiCorp, a leader in infrastructure automation, today announced that it has been recognized in the "Cool Vendors in DevOps, 2016"1 report by Gartner, Inc.

This is the latest in a series of accolades for HashiCorp. Earlier this month, HashiCorp was one of 10 companies featured at the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium for its strategic value in building infrastructure for the digital economy.

HashiCorp was founded by Mitchell Hashimoto and Armon Dadgar who were both just named to Inc.'s prestigious 30 under 30 list: https://www.inc.com/tess-townsend/2016-30-under-30-hashicorp.html.

These awards recognize the importance of infrastructure for software, and HashiCorp's role in shaping the future of that infrastructure. To be competitive in the software economy, companies need to rapidly produce software that creates business value. To rapidly produce software, companies need to invest in infrastructure. Just as governments invest in infrastructure to enable their population to thrive, companies need to invest in infrastructure for software to empower developers to make direct business impact. HashiCorp infrastructure automation technology does exactly that -- it is the foundation for the software which shapes our world.

"It's great to be recognized for our contributions to the DevOps ecosystem," said Mitchell Hashimoto, co-founder and CEO of HashiCorp. "These awards validate the choice made by millions of users looking to increase the agility of operators and developers in their organization with our enterprise products and open source tools."
