Hathor Exploration Limited: Exploration Continues for Basement-Hosted Uranium East of the Athabasca Basin

VANCOUVER, BRIITSH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 29, 2006) - Hathor Exploration Limited (TSX VENTURE:HAT) is pleased to announce that ground-based resistivity surveys have started on the Wollaston NE property; 49%-owned by Hathor's subsidiary, Roughrider Uranium Corp.

The 184,475 hectare (455,848 acres) Wollaston NE property is comprised of six Prospecting Permits that are located approximately 80 kilometres northeast of Cameco Corporation's Eagle Point Mine at the northeastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. The project is governed by a joint venture agreement with Triex Minerals Corporation which is a 51% interest holder and operator of the project.

Camp mobilization began on November 17th and the resistivity surveys are expected to take approximately four weeks to complete. This work follows up on key EM and magnetic targets identified from helicopter-borne DIGHEM V geophysical surveys flown in January and an extensive lake sediment geochemical program completed in September, for which final results are still pending.

Integration of all new geological, geochemical and geophysical data into the comprehensive GIS project database is ongoing and will contribute to refining targets for a first-pass diamond drill program anticipated for the summer of 2007. Interpretation and modeling of data is focused on the potential for discovery of structurally controlled, basement-hosted uranium deposits similar to Cameco's Eagle Point mine.

Hathor continues to aggressively advance its portfolio of ten exploration projects in the world's premier district of high-grade uranium deposits, the Athabasca Basin.
