Have a Not-So-Scary Halloween on a Disney World Florida Holiday With Florida4Less

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 7, 2010) - Mickey Mouse and friends are inviting families to say 'BOO!' to the bogeyman this autumn on Disney World Florida holidays with Florida4Less.

Halloween is that time of year when adults and children bring out the broomsticks and throw those old sheets over their heads for a night of ghoulish fun and games. Walt Disney World Florida is going a few steps further in 2010, with a series of thrilling parties to get families with children of all ages into the Halloween spirit.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is kicking off on 24 spook-filled evenings, from 7pm to 12am, between 14th September and 1st November. The events promise to be a family-friendly way to enjoy Halloween, transforming the Magic Kingdom into a warren of happy haunted hollows.

Visitors enjoying Disney World Florida holidays are encouraged to dress up in their very best wicked witch, diabolical devil, or strange, spooky costume and join in the fun, which includes the chance to go trick-or-treating around Disney World's most famous locations on the hunt for sweets and goodies.

As anyone who has been on a Disney World holiday knows, the Haunted Mansion is one of the resort's biggest and best attractions, and will be at the heart of the Halloween goings-on. The stars and spooks of the Haunted Mansion will be rising from the grave to haunt the rest of the Magic Kingdom and bring the fun of Halloween to all the family's favourite Disney characters.

There will be spooky storytelling and on-the-spot Halloween shows across the Magic Kingdom, plus face-painting, gypsy fortune-telling and fun 'Mouse-Ka-Rade' parties for children to show off their costumes.

This being a Disney World holiday, the Magic Kingdom is pulling out all the stops, with atmospheric lighting, sound and special effects to complement the Halloween feel. Families can also enjoy all the usual Magic Kingdom attractions, as well as enjoy complimentary photos to mark the occasion. At the same time, the events are suitable for children of all ages, so – as the name suggests – Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is all in good fun.

The centrepiece of the celebration is Mickey's 'Boo-to-You' parade, which proceeds down Main Street at 8:15pm and 10:30pm, led by the ghostly Headless Horseman. At 9:30pm, 'Happy HalloWishes' fires up a pyrotechnical spectacle: an unforgettable fireworks display in which the world's favourite Disney villains wreak havoc on a trick-or-treating trip across the sky.

As a special event, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party requires a separate ticket, beyond standard Magic Kingdom admission. These should be booked well in advance of venturing on a Disney World Florida holiday, as many nights may be sold-out a few weeks before the event.

In any case, it's likely that the only things going 'bump' in the night will be children too excited to sleep, looking forward to a not-so-scary Halloween on a Disney World Florida holiday.
