Haven Touring Offer the 'Glamping' Experience for Their Spring Camping Holidays

HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - April 17, 2012) - Fresh ideas from Haven Holidays where you choose what level of camping you want to do. Kids love outdoorsy camping holidays and what better place to take them than the seaside? But tent assembly isn't everyone's cup of tea and some might not relish the idea of sleeping on a role mat or blow up bed and fumbling around by torch light. So guests looking to go to Haven will be happy to hear there's another way. Haven Holidays have offered camping pitches on their holiday parks for over 40 years but they've recently been turning the concept of camping holidays into something altogether easier and more glamorous, some call it "glamping".

The first thing you can leave off your packing list is a tent; Haven will set you up in one of theirs. These are no ordinary tents. Depending on which Haven park you decide to stay at you'll have a choice of their regular looking but very large and tall Super Tents or luxurious, themed Safari Tents, Mongolian style Yurts and futuristic looking Geodomes. All of these options come with proper framed beds and comfortable furniture, electrical lighting, plug sockets, refrigerators, cutlery and cooking facilities. Shower blocks are conveniently located and offer hot showers at any time of the day. Haven are constantly investing and improving their UK campsite facilities using green technology where possible with several touring blocks using solar power to heat the hot water.

The south-west is a camping hotspot and that's why Haven have launched their new tent range there. They're putting Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset and Perran Sands in Cornwall, on the cutting-edge of this camping revolution. Burnham has the great new safari tents and Perran Sands is offering access all of the new tents, Yurts and Geodomes, and their touring (camping and mobile caravanning) area is located right next to the sea, in fact the Yurts are actually nestled amongst the sand dunes.

If the promise of luxury camping just isn't enough to get you into a tent then perhaps you'd be interested in some of the other options on offer. Haven have a wide range of caravan types to suit all budgets and have all the facilities you have at home... some even have en suite bathrooms. These include their new Summer Houses. They look something like a large beach hut, pastel shades on the outside and blue and white interiors. Something very new and exciting is the new Seaview Village development at Combe Haven holiday park in Sussex. This is the first of its kind at Haven and has been built to reflect the seaside locale with a great view to be enjoyed from either a patio, decking or covered veranda. There are footpaths meandering throughout the 'village' which lead children to three individually designed play areas, each laid out as a 'trimtrail' and set on an all weather 'astro turf' surface. Car parking has been carefully planned so there's less road surface and more grass, creating a safe environment where children can play and explore. The whole feeling around this new style of development is a sense of a mini community within the park; they've even included a communal BBQ where families can come together. All of the new caravans added this year are fitted with double glazing and central heating for that extra protection from the elements.

Whichever park or option you choose for your family camping holiday you'll be able to take advantage of Haven's huge range of activities and sports facilities: there's tennis, fencing, climbing, swimming and crazy golf plus many more so you'll be sure to find something you find enjoyable. So if you're keen to get your family outside and enjoying the great outdoors this year but you're not overly fond of leaving your home comforts behind then there's a fair chance that Haven have got just the sort of fun-filled, great value holiday you're looking for at one of their 35 parks around the country.
