Havertys Selects GT Nexus to Deliver Frictionless Sourcing, Payments and Factory Collaboration Processes

Furniture Retailer Aligns Internal Departments and External Trading Partners on Cloud-Based Collaboration Network

OAKLAND, CA--(Marketwired - October 20, 2015) - GT Nexus announced today that leading furniture retailer Havertys (NYSE: HVT) (NYSE: HVT.A) will deploy the GT Nexus platform to improve supplier and inventory visibility and automate procurement processes, including purchase order management, three-way matching and invoice settlement.

Havertys, established in 1885, is a full-service home furnishings retailer with 123 showrooms in 16 states in the Southern and Midwestern regions providing its customers with a wide selection of quality merchandise in middle to upper-middle price ranges.

"Deploying GT Nexus as our supply chain system of engagement is part of a broader initiative to obtain operational excellence and mitigate risk though end-to-end supply chain visibility," said Richard Gallagher, Executive Vice President of Merchandising, Havertys. "Greater factory and production visibility, and simplification of the procure-to-pay process, will offer us a greater handle on orders and inventory. This will allow us to better serve customers while minimizing costs."

"Furniture retailers, similar to consumer goods companies and manufacturers, are facing uncertainties and volatility on multiple fronts as they expand deeper overseas to better compete and serve new markets," said Sean Feeney, CEO of GT Nexus, Inc. "Havertys embraces its supply chain as a competitive weapon. A cloud commerce network provides connective tissue between internal and external stakeholders, enabling multi-enterprise visibility and collaboration to better serve customers."
