The Pinterest photo sharing contest is free to enter and is running now through October 3, 2013.
"Pin Your Pool" prizes include a $1,000 first place prize; a second place prize of a 32 GB Apple iPad with WiFi; eight third place prizes of $100 Visa gift cards; and 40 fourth place prizes of $25 Visa gift cards.
According to the contest rules, entrants can submit an unlimited number of pictures -- as long as they feature an in-ground, above-ground or even a wading pool. A panel of judges will select the winners based on the photograph's fun and inspirational appeal, as well as the number of Likes, Shares, and Repins.

Photos must be in jpeg, tiff, gif, or png file formats, and can be no larger than 2 MB.
