Head Automatica Cancels More Tour Dates

BURBANK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 28, 2005 -- It was announced today that Warner Bros. Records' Head Automatica has cancelled their supporting dates with Finch due to illness of lead singer Daryl Palumbo. Daryl, who suffered from a relapse of Crohn's Disease, is currently taking a few weeks off of the band's current US tour to undergo treatment. Although it is uncomfortable and recurring, the disease is not life threatening.

"I am incredibly sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused, and I promise to see you all soon and make up for the lost time," said Palumbo. "I appreciate all the kind words and well wishes, but most importantly I appreciate your understanding. We'll all get to rock together soon."

Palumbo is scheduled to tour the US with his band Glassjaw, supporting The Used, beginning August 13th. Head Automatica will join The Used for a tour of Canada starting September 7th.
