Health and Safety Products Company Experiences Record Sales for Q1 2008

Thermofocus Sales Increase a Healthy 400%

WESTON, FL--(Marketwire - April 21, 2008) - American Scientific Resources (PINKSHEETS: ASFX) today announced record sales for Q1 2008, stating that sales of the Thermofocus® 5-in-1 non-contact thermometer have grown at an exponential rate over the past 6 months. Of particular importance were online marketing strategies, which through its Kidz-Med subsidiary have successfully increased online conversion rates by 400%.

Management remains openly optimistic of the trend in sales and marketing for its health and safety product lines and expects to continue the current strategies, which have achieved the Company's recent success. (Current sales have more than tripled compared to Q1 2007 to over $231,000.)

The Company's mission is to scour the globe for innovative health and safety products not yet available in the American market and introduce, distribute and market them in North America.
