Health Hero Network Completes Executive Team With New Hires

Health Hero Network Adds Over 60 Years of Experience to Support Company's Growth and Leadership in the Home Health Monitoring Technology Market

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 6, 2006 -- Health Hero Network Inc., a leading provider of personalized, home health care technology, has hired three new executives to lead the company's legal, marketing and sales efforts. The company has been building out its executive team in response to its expansion and success, and in anticipation of continued growth as its Health Buddy® system expands into a broad range of markets. The new executives complete the company's leadership team and add an additional 60 years of experience to a seasoned group of health care and technology experts.

The new executive team members are:

Sandeep Jaggi - Senior VP of Intellectual Property & General Counsel.

Mr. Jaggi has over 10 years of legal experience and an additional 10 years of business and engineering experience. Prior to joining the company Mr. Jaggi held a variety of senior level positions at LSI Logic Corporation including Vice President, Chief IP Counsel, Assistant Corporate Secretary and Assistant General Counsel. He was responsible for all aspects of IP protection, valuation, acquisition, enforcement, litigation and licensing. Prior to obtaining his law degree he was President and Chief Executive Officer of ETS Inc., which commercialized space based-technologies for NASA and US Navy. He also held the positions of Project Leader, Principal Engineer and Senior Scientist for Lockheed at NASA's Johnson Space Center. Mr. Jaggi holds a JD degree specializing in Intellectual Property Law from Santa Clara University. He also holds a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University and BS in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India.

Gary Paladin - Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing.

Mr. Paladin brings to the company 21 years of marketing and strategic planning experience in medical devices and consumer health products. Prior to joining Health Hero Network, Mr. Paladin was Vice President of Global Marketing for Ocular Sciences, where he spearheaded marketing and strategic planning, which contributed to the company's successful acquisition by The Cooper Companies. Before that, he served as Vice President of Marketing for Neopost OnLine, and Vice President of Marketing for Amira Medical. Mr. Paladin also spent 4 years at Oral-B Laboratories, a Gillette company, now part of Procter & Gamble. As Vice President of Global Business Management, he directed strategic growth initiatives for the $600 million global consumer business and played a key role in propelling Oral-B to market leadership in the U.S. He also spent ten years with Warner-Lambert (acquired by Pfizer) in several positions including Director of Business Development, and Business Unit Director for Oral Care. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.

Rick Smith - Senior VP of Worldwide Sales.

Mr. Smith has 23 years of sales and marketing experience working for some of the most recognizable names in medical technology. Prior to joining Health Hero Network, he was Senior Vice President, Ultrasound Business Operations USA for Siemens Medical Solutions Ultrasound Division, where he was responsible for all of Siemens' ultrasound operations. Preceding this, Mr. Smith held the position of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing. During Mr. Smith's tenure at Siemens he led the organization to a #1 market share position for radiology, cardiology and overall ultrasound systems (2004). He was also Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Acuson Corporation (acquired by Siemens in 2000). Mr. Smith spent 10 years with Toshiba America Medical Systems, where he held various positions including Vice President of Ultrasound Operations. He has a MS degree in Education from Southern Illinois University and a BS in Education from Western Illinois University.
