Not-for-Profit Health Plan Serving More Than One Million Members in Downstate New York Reveals Best Practices for Member Engagement

In October 2014, the Healthfirst Medicare Advantage Plan was awarded four-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The four stars from CMS reflect both the quality of Healthfirst's Medicare plan as well as the plan's goal to become the preeminent plan in its market.
