TEMECULA, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 23, 2011) - HealthMed Services, Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: HEME) disclosed more information regarding the new technology it gained with the acquisition of DRS Technology, Inc. and subsequent merger of DRS Technology, Inc. into the Company.

Dr. Henry J. Smith, President and CEO of HealthMed Services, stated, "This acquisition and merger gave us the enabling technologies to monitor glucose control in Type 2 diabetics non-invasively by testing saliva samples. This technology represents an important component of any diabetes prevention program.
