Hearst Corporation Names Denielle deWynter Vice President of Finance, Hearst Business Media


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - July 06, 2015) - Hearst Corporation today announced the appointment of Denielle deWynter, CPA, CA, as vice president of Finance, Hearst Business Media. The announcement was made by Steven R. Swartz, president and CEO of Hearst Corporation, Hearst Business Media President Richard P. Malloch and Robert D. Wilbanks, vice president and chief financial officer of the group. The appointment is effective immediately.

In this newly-created role, deWynter will be responsible for financial planning and reporting for the organization, whose holdings in finance, healthcare and transportation include Fitch Group, the Hearst Health network of market-leading healthcare companies, MOTOR Information Systems, Black Book and more. deWynter will report to Wilbanks.

deWynter most recently served as senior director of Global Finance Operations at McGraw-Hill Financial and held several positions there over the past decade, including director of Global Risk Assessment and International Reporting and manager of Financial Operations and Internal Controls at Standard & Poor's. Previously, she held positions at HSBC and Deloitte in Europe and Canada. deWynter was inducted as a member to the Canadian and British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants and received a bachelor's of Business Administration in accounting from Simon Fraser University in Canada.
