Helping Homeless Children, Wellness International Network Donates School Supplies to Rainbow Days

PLANO, TX--(Marketwire - August 18, 2009) - With school starting soon, Ralph Oats and Wellness International Network recently helped homeless children prepare for the upcoming school year by donating school supplies and backpacks to a local charity. Employees of Wellness International Network, an undisputed nutritional leader known for its top-selling weight management line, the BioLean® System, and anti-aging supplement WIN CoQ10™, collected $650 worth of school supplies for Rainbow Days's Back-to-School Drive, geared to give area homeless children they need for a successful school year.

"As a parent you always worry about your children and their education, and being able to take part in something like this gives me peace of mind knowing that I can help a parent provide school necessities for their child," shares Yvette Harmon, a distributor relations representative at Wellness International Network. "Plus, we should show generosity to our children, so they too will grow up showing compassion for others."

For the last few weeks, employees of Wellness International Network collected crayons, pencils, folders, backpacks, notebooks, construction paper, scissors, glue and much more to help homeless elementary and kindergarten children start the school year off right. Ralph Oats and Wellness International Network have supported Rainbow Days and many other charitable organizations including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Wheelchair Foundation and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for more than 16 years.

"Cathy and I started Wellness International Network to give people an opportunity to better their lives and their future," shares Ralph Oats, founder of Wellness International Network. "By giving back, we can help even more people improve their lives and reach their full potential."

Committed to giving back, Wellness International Network also helps improve the lives of children through regularly donating clothing, school and medical supplies to Hearts Together for Haiti. Distributors of Wellness International Network recently delivered donated items and witnessed the dismal conditions in Haitian villages.

"One of the greatest joys for me is giving back to someone who is in need," shares Tiffany Matthews, a graphic and multimedia designer at Wellness International Network. "It makes me feel so good inside knowing I am making a difference in someone else's life, especially when it's a child. With Rainbow Days, I know I'm helping a child start the school year off on the right foot!"
