Her Excellency Sharon Johnston to Visit Operation Come Home During Mental Health Week

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 1, 2014) - As part of Mental Health Week (May 5 to 11, 2014), Her Excellency Sharon Johnston will visit Operation Come Home (OCH) on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 150 Gloucester Street, in Ottawa.

She will be given a tour of the facility by Ms. Natalie Elliott, Director of Programs at OCH, and by a youth who benefits from the various services offered at the centre.

Following the tour, Her Excellency will take part in the BottleWorks program, during which she will join youths to collect empty bottles from a local restaurant. In addition, Mrs. Johnston will plant seeds with youths enrolled in FarmWorks, a farming employment program.

About Operation Come Home

Established in 1971, Operation Come Home is an employment, education and support centre for homeless and at-risk youth age 16 and up.
