Herbalife Family Foundation Partners With Po Leung Kuk to Provide a Community Nutrition Program for Three Hong Kong Schools


HONG KONG, CHINA--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2015) - Herbalife, a global nutrition company, through the Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), partners with Po Leung Kuk, a Hong Kong Charity organization, to provide healthy breakfast and nutrition education to school children in need through a "Community Nutrition Program". HFF initiated the school program in 2014, which helped fund three primary schools in Hong Kong namely, Ho Shun Primary School (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen), Sau Ming Primary School, and Shek Wu Hui Public School. The nutrition program, which is benefiting about 1,000 students a year, revolves around enabling the schools to provide nutritious breakfast as well as to provide proper platforms for nutrition education and healthy lifestyle practices. Herbalife will continue the program in 2015 academic year to benefit more children in need.
