Herbalix Restoratives Unveils "Do You Know What's Under YOUR Arms?" Campaign at Natural Products Expo West

Herbalix Has Developed the First of Its Kind Non-Aluminum Deodorant Called the Detox Cleansing Deodorant™ for Nighttime Use, Made With Certified Organic Ingredients

PORT LUDLOW, WA--(Marketwire - March 7, 2011) - Booth # 3514 -- Hall D -- Herbalix Restoratives™ LLC today announced the company will launch its campaign, "Do You Know What's Under YOUR Arms?" educational campaign at the Natural Products Expo West/SupplyExpo held March 10-13, 2011 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Herbalix has developed the first of its kind non-aluminum deodorant called the Detox Cleansing Deodorant™ for nighttime use, made with certified organic ingredients.

The show is expected to draw over 55,000 attendees this year showcasing products in the categories of natural and specialty foods, organic, supplements, health and beauty, natural living and pet products.

In addition to launching their new website, the aluminum-free deodorant campaign has been designed to raise awareness of the fact that most antiperspirants contain aluminum as the active ingredient and are classified as drugs because they change the physiological process of the body, acting like little 'plugs' to stop sweat. The use of commercial deodorants can lead to the buildup of chemicals resulting in irritation and hygiene problems.

Through its extensive research of the underarm (axilla) and aluminum, Herbalix developed its Detox Cleansing Deodorant to cleanse away buildup, allowing for the release of impeded waste fluids, encourages healthy lymphatic flow, and absorbs all types of aluminums, encouraging a reduction in daytime odors.

"Suppressing sweat encourages the backup of bacteria and may affect the flow of lymph fluids," said Elizabeth Fessler, president and chief executive officer of Herbalix Restoratives, LLC. "Most people apply deodorants or antiperspirants to prevent odor and suppress sweat, yet humans perspire for a reason."

Formulated to attract, absorb and cleanse bacterium and metal ions, including aluminum, from the underarms, Herbalix Restoratives' aluminum-free deodorant, Detox Cleansing Deodorant, features organic botanical cleansing ingredients that work at night and provide six to eight hours of safe and efficient absorption of accumulated debris and odors.

"Since aluminum has no known function in life the first manifestations of the evolution of human physiology in is presence will almost certainly be negative and most likely in the form of chronic disease," according to Dr. Christopher Exley, Keele University, England.
