Heroes of Newerth Gamers Annihilate the Competition in a New Alienware Arena Tournament Sponsored by Samsung

Online PC Gaming Competition Features $3,000 in Prizes Including Samsung SSDs (Solid State Drives)

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2011) - iGames announced on the Alienware Arena community site today the Samsung SSD Heroes of Newerth Annihilation Tournament, the third online PC gaming tournament in an ongoing series sponsored by Samsung and Alienware™, Dell's premier PC gaming brand representing premium power and performance for gamers and technology enthusiasts alike.

Utilizing the hit indie title Heroes of Newerth, PC gamers will command the battles and spells of legendary heroes in the digital land of Newerth. As part of teams of five or more players each, gamers will need to balance their individual skill with closely coordinated team tactics in order to annihilate their competitors.

The competition will be held in a double-elimination bracket format with matches held twice per week from March 28 to May 19. There's more than pride on the line. Up for grabs is a prize pool of $1,500 in cash and a set of high-performance Samsung SSDs for the overall champions.
