Hertz Names Leslie Hunziker Staff Vice President, Investor Relations

PARK RIDGE, NJ--(Marketwire - December 15, 2008) - Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HTZ) announced that Leslie Hunziker has been appointed Staff Vice President, Investor Relations. Hunziker joins Hertz from Tenneco, Inc. where she served as the Executive Director, Investor Relations. Prior to joining Tenneco in 2002, Hunziker served for six years as Senior Vice President for the Financial Relations Board and, prior to that, she served for more than 10 years in a variety of management and consulting positions within the Investor Relations field. Ms. Hunziker succeeds Lauren Babus, who retired on October 31, 2008.

Frissora, Hertz's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commenting on Hunziker's appointment, said, "Leslie is a seasoned investor relations professional who has great hands-on experience at Tenneco with institutional and individual debt and equity investors, successfully managing all aspects of the Company's investor relations activities. While at Tenneco, Hunziker served on the Company's Financial Disclosure Committee. In addition, she spearheaded an odd-lot tender program that resulted in savings for the Company, increased by more than 20% the number of active shareholders among Tenneco's institutional investor base, and increased the number of sell-side equity and debt analysts. Her work on Tenneco's annual reports garnered her awards from NIRI, ARC, American Business Communicators and the League of American Communications Professionals.

Ms. Hunziker holds a BA degree from the Northern Illinois University.
