HHV Hosts Arts and Crafts Clinic in Chicago for Veterans

WINCHESTER, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 14, 2014) - Help Hospitalized Veterans (HHV), the nation's largest provider of free therapeutic arts and craft kits to veterans who receive healthcare will be hosting a special arts & crafts clinic on March 21, 2014 in the Chicago area.

Veterans are invited to come to HHV's new Community Based Crafts center (CBC) and build a bird house or bird feeder. The crafts and necessary supplies to build and decorate them will be provided free of charge -- as always -- along with light refreshments.

The CBC in Berwyn, Illinois is one of four regional centers that HHV has made available to Chicago-area veterans to have a place to go and work on arts and crafts in a comfortable and relaxed setting.

Other CBC locations include Grand Junction, Colorado; Bay Pines, Florida and Temple, Texas.

The Berwyn CBC event will be held March 21, from 1:00pm - 2:30pm at 6243-B West 26th Street.

Please call (708) 484-9508 to register or if you have any questions. Because of the high demand expected, veterans are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Since 1971, Help Hospitalized Veterans has donated over 28 million arts and crafts kits to veteran patients receiving care at federal, state and private medical hospitals and state veterans homes.
