High Grade Uranium Assay Results From Rockgate's Kilohigok Sedimentary Basin Project, Nunavut

Rockgate Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:RGT) (the "Company") is pleased to announce surface sample assay results obtained from the company's Pomy Uranium, Selenium and Silver Prospect located within the approximately 1,000 square kilometer project area in the Proterozoic, Kilohigok Basin near Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut Territory, Canada.

Samples taken from 10 existing trenches over a 900 metre strike length returned high grade uranium values up to 2.121% U3O8, Selenium values to 6.1% and Silver values to 1810 g/t. Table #1 contains all samples collected with their significant values.

Significant lead concentrations up to 1.69% were also obtained with samples D9007 to D9013 also containing high concentrations of both mercury and bismuth up to 220 ppm and 237.20 ppm respectively.

The majority of mineralization is situated within the Proterozoic, Brown Sound Formation basalt and at both contacts with sandstones. Historical grab samples by Cominco in the 1970's from the Pomy Showings were reported to contain up to 4.35% U3O8 in the sandstone, 6.5% U3O8 in basalt with one trench sample returning 2.10% U3O8 over 4 metres along the sandstone/basalt contact.

Rockgate's Nunavut project is located along the west side of Bathurst Inlet over a large Proterozoic, sedimentary basin with known uranium occurrences. These occurrences are situated near the basal angular unconformity and in close proximity to a large regional structure called the Bathurst Inlet Fault. The current airborne geophysical survey is expected to be completed by the end of September. Geological crews are on site and will continue to evaluate know mineral occurrences and will follow up any new geophysical anomalies identified by the current airborne survey.

Eco Tech Laboratory Ltd. of Kamloops B.C., an accredited laboratory, is conducting the sample preparation and analyses. Mr. Lorne Warner, P. Geo, Director and VP Exploration is the Qualified Person for the Company under NI 43-101.
