High-Intensity, Hand-Held E-Series Lamps Make Crime Scene Investigation Easy

WESTBURY, NY--(Marketwired - June 13, 2016) - Spectroline's E-Series lamps are effective tools for crime scene investigation in the field or laboratory. The high-intensity, long-wave (365 nm) model allows for quick verification of documents, currencies and much more.

The short-wave (254 nm) model is ideal for working with RUVIS (Reflective Ultraviolet Imaging System). Angling the UV light in a certain way will detect latent fingerprints on smooth, non-porous surfaces.

E-Series lamps are lightweight, yet rugged, and can be easily transported from place to place. They're available as 4-,5-,6- or 8-watt models, with single-wavelength or dual-wavelength designs, including white light. The lamps are engineered with integrally filtered long-wave tubes or unfiltered UV tubes, with or without filter assemblies.

A durable silver-anodized aluminum housing provides long-lasting service. Available in 120V, 230V, 240V and 100V versions. All lamps include a removable carrying handle; a lamp stand is available for hands-free operation.
