High-Tech Sports Experts Opens at L'Avenue Mode of Les Avenues Vaudreuil

VAUDREUIL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - July 18, 2017) - Real estate developer, Harden, has held fast to its promise to transform Les Avenues Vaudreuil into a new-and-improved shopping destination with a unique "lifestyle" concept.

As announced in April, brothers Mario and Luc Miville, owners of the Intersport franchise established on boulevard de la Gare in Les Avenues Vaudreuil in 2006, have implemented a massive expansion initiative within their premises and have now opened a flagship Sports Experts - Atmosphere - Hockey Experts store where the Intersport franchise once stood.

The massive expansion, from 18,400-square feet to 30,947 square feet, sees this new-generation Sports Experts store join forces with the Atmosphere and Hockey Experts banners, to become the region's top destination for athletic wear and sports accessories. The transformation of this ultramodern, single-storey store, is the result of an investment of more than three million dollars and is expected to create 25 to 30 new jobs, raising the current number from 40 employees to 70.

The new Sports Expert location features leading brands in athletic clothing and footwear such as The North Face, Columbia, Adidas, Nike, Lolë, Under Armor, Mountain Hardwear, Oakley, Arc'teryx and Royal Robbins, a team of employees with in-depth product knowledge, and will offer digital applications to enable shoppers to enhance their experience with the store.

The new store also features:

  • a video wall display for boots and shoes, featuring touch screens incorporating technology allowing customers to scan products on the screen and obtain instant detailed information;
  • a community video wall with several LED screens featuring news about partnerships, promotions, local sports and star employees;
  • interactive kiosks that will help customers find products in stores;
  • product presentation cubes featuring digital content.
