High Tower Software and Encryptanet Announce Technology Agreement

High Tower to Incorporate Encryptanet's Authorization and Access Management Technologies Into Cinxi Network Security and Compliance Monitoring Products

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - March 10, 2008) - Security Software specialist High Tower Software today announced that it has entered a technology licensing agreement with Encrpytanet, Inc. of Anaheim, Calif. Under the agreement High Tower will incorporate Encryptanet's authentication and access management technologies into High Tower's line of network security and compliance monitoring systems.

"Monitoring and controlling user access to software and systems on a network is a major problem for IT and security personnel," said High Tower vice president of product management, Sage Osterfeld. "Incorporating Encryptanet's technologies into our products will give these folks a fast, easy and highly secure means to set and monitor access management policies from a centralized security management system."

High Tower produces a line of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems dubbed "Cinxi" which automate the process of monitoring live data from network security devices, computers, and software applications. The systems centralize data collection, analyze, correlate, and store the information, providing organizations with better incident response and compliance with regulatory mandates.

Encryptanet is the developer of a software technology that controls and manages access to computers, software systems, digital content, servers, and other network devices via digital certificates. The technology is very simple to deploy and can't be bypassed or "cracked" the way other access control and authentication systems such as passwords can. Encryptanet's software is licensed by a broad variety of businesses including payment processors, content publishers, software developers, and others.

"This is a very exciting technology partnership," said Encryptanet founder and chief technology officer Clay Cover. "Incorporating the Encryptanet authentication and access technologies into Cinxi SIEM solutions will greatly enhance those systems' security monitoring and management capabilities. Network managers will have a powerful new tool for controlling and monitoring who has access to network systems and resources, whether users are just down the hall or halfway around the world."

The Encryptanet access management and authentication technologies are slated to appear in Cinxi products late in the second quarter of 2008.
