HighNote Free Messaging Application Exhibiting at DEMO Spring 2011

A New Social Way to Message. Anywhere. Free.

PALM DESERT, CA--(Marketwire - February 28, 2011) - HighNote, the new messaging application available on iPhone, iPad, iTouch and Android phones, will be exhibiting at DEMO Spring 2011. The application offers a more expressive way to communicate with friends from your mobile handset -- for free.

As well as standard text messaging, HighNote allows users to send truly rich multi-media messages, including video, photos, music, maps, voice, customized formatting, and quick reply buttons. By capturing the best of SMS (short message service) and the wealth of features associated with social networking, HighNote will improve the way people communicate through their phones.

Marc Barach, CEO at HighNote comments, "Both consumers and business users want to increase their level of social interaction on the move. At HighNote we recognized this and developed an application that captures the simplicity and immediacy of text, but with a message richness designed for a more robust, and personalized level of social communication. Whether it is sending holiday pictures from New York to London or a location map for a meeting in Tokyo, HighNote can deliver, in real time, for free."

In addition to this, HighNote does not carry ads on its messaging user interface. Instead, it will allow users to interact directly with companies and organizations relevant to them. Barach continues, "HighNote is first and foremost a social messaging service and we do not want to bombard our users with intrusive ads. However, being able to connect users with companies and organizations when they need to and on their terms is a key component of what we offer."

Key Features of HighNote:

  • Free messaging. Free application: The application is offered for free and without any obtrusive advertisements. HighNote users can message for free to other HighNote users.
  • Creative Content: The application allows users to include multiple types of media content within one message. Maps, videos, music, pictures, voice recordings and custom greetings can all be sent at once without having to hop in and out of an application.
  • Quick-Reply Buttons: HighNote allows users to send messages that include customized quick reply buttons that enable the receiver to respond with a single tap using any number of media options.
  • Cross Platform: Once downloaded, HighNote users can message each other anywhere for free. A web link will be sent out when messaging a non-HighNote user on any phone, which will allow them to view the message via a Web browser.

Pricing and availability:
HighNote is free to all users worldwide. The application is available on the iPhone, iPad, iTouch, and Android (Blackberry, Symbian, and Windows 7 coming soon).
