Highwoods Properties to Participate on Panel at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Real Estate Conference

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - September 28, 2010) -  Highwoods Properties, Inc. (NYSE: HIW), the largest owner and operator of suburban office properties in the Southeast and NAIOP's 2009 Developer of the Year, today announced that Ed Fritsch, President and Chief Executive Officer, will participate in a panel discussion at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Real Estate Conference in New York City on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. The 45-minute panel, "Office Cycles Around the World," is scheduled to begin at 11:35 a.m. Eastern time.
