IHTSDO's Affiliate Forum is dedicated to increasing adoption of SNOMED CT among member countries and the clinical information technology vendor community.

"This event will help hospitals, health systems, vendors and other stakeholders learn how SNOMED CT provides the standardized clinical content that is essential for the safe, accurate and effective exchange of health information, and clinical IT interoperability," explained Horowitz. "IHTSDO is committed to facilitating the adoption of SNOMED CT to facilitate true semantic interoperability, which has the potential to dramatically improve healthcare delivery throughout the world."
