Hip Hop Weekly and FilmOn Networks' Partner to Present Exclusive Event During BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend

Viewers Will Get up Close and Personal With Artists at the All Access Soundstage & Interview Suite, Celebrating Hip Hop Weekly's New Website

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - September 18, 2014) - In conjunction with FilmOn Networks, Hip Hop Weekly magazine will broadcast its All Access Soundstage & Interview Suite during the BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend on Sept. 19 from 7-9 pm EDT. 

The event -- which will feature exclusive interviews, select performances, a private red carpet, and a gifting suite -- will be streamed live for free on FilmOn's new platform with all "tips" going to the charity Peace One Day.

Artists expected at the suite include: Yo Gotti, Cash Out, Wiz Khalifa, Snootie Wild, Rocko, Lil Scrappy, Kirk & Rasheeda Frost, OMG Girlz, Althea "Thi Thi" Heart, Que, Ty Dolla $ignRich Homie Quan, Zaytoven, Big Gipp and Bobby Shmurda among others.

The event at Atlanta's Billboard Studios celebrates the launch of Hip Hop Weekly's new website and the launch of -- a revolutionary new platform created by Greek billionaire Alki David which allows artists to monetize their performances and interact with audiences with just a laptop and a web cam. It will power the epic rap battle between Cassidy and Dizaster with FilmOn's Battle Rap TV channel on Dec. 6.
