Hipcricket Promotes Mobile Advertising Expert Kate Farley to Senior Vice President of Business Operations

Farley to Drive Strategic Direction Across the AD LIFE® Platform of Products and Services

BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwired - Mar 6, 2014) -  Hipcricket®, Inc. (OTCBB: HIPP) (OTCQB: HIPP), the leader in mobile engagement and analytics, has recently promoted Kate Farley from vice president of advertising solutions to the new position of senior vice president of business operations. A digital and mobile advertising veteran for more than fifteen years, Farley will lead the strategic direction and operations of Hipcricket's mobile advertising and marketing business.

As senior vice president of business operations, Farley will manage the entire AD LIFE® platform of Hipcricket services, including advertising, messaging, QR codes and mobile web to deliver its holistic infrastructure to clients. This enhanced approach will further drive Hipcricket's ability to quickly and efficiently scale to the needs of clients, with a continued focus on high-quality customer service.

Farley is an expert in major brand advertisers that participate in the entertainment, music, technology, telecom, studio, automotive, consumer electronics and consumer package goods industries. Farley joined Hipcricket in 2011 as general manager for ad operations and was quickly promoted to vice president of mobile advertising solutions in October 2012.

Prior to joining Hipcricket, Farley spent thirteen years at RealNetworks, where she led advertising operations for national online advertising and convergence media sales businesses. In this role, she developed and delivered large-scale advertising programs across a global network of properties, including Rhapsody.com and RollingStone.com.
