Hireology Achieves Record Growth in 2014, Builds Strong Momentum for New Year

Robust Growth

Hireology provides employers with a data-driven selection management platform that helps them make the best hiring decisions possible. The company experienced significant growth throughout 2014 as more employers across a wide range of industries looked for a solution to elevate their hiring practices. Overall, Hireology saw a revenue increase of 173 percent compared to its 2013 performance, and its customer base expanded by 78 percent over the previous year.

The company significantly increased its internal hiring to better meet the needs of its growing client base and to ensure the right resources are in place to create additional cutting-edge solutions. Hireology started 2014 with 19 employees and ended the year with 72, hiring additional talent in sales, marketing, engineering, product and operations. The headcount increase drove the need for a larger office space, leading Hireology to open its new corporate headquarters in December. The company now provides its team with a modern workspace more conducive to collaboration, while supporting future growth and expansion needs as the company continues to scale.

Expanding Product Offerings

Hireology's successful 2014 was accelerated with a $10M Series B investment from Bain Capital Ventures. The company is using the proceeds to drive its proprietary analytics and technology development to help more organizations transform their talent acquisition and selection strategies through a consistent hiring process.

In November, Hireology announced its latest product enhancement: an upgraded and enhanced phone screen guide providing employers with a robust solution to facilitate the phone screening process. The solution enables a consistent approach to phone-based interviews, with a script and guided questions to ensure hiring managers ask the right questions, as well as automated scoring that provides immediate results to make informed hiring decisions.
