HireVue Returns as Global Platinum Sponsor for the 2014 Candidate Experience Awards

Talent Interaction Leader Supports Talent Board's Awards and Benchmarking Program for Fourth Consecutive Year

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2014) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that HireVue, the leading Talent Interaction Platform provider, is returning as a Global Platinum Sponsor of the Candidate Experience Awards (CandE Awards). This marks the fourth consecutive year of support from HireVue toward Talent Board's mission.

Launched in 2011, the CandE Awards is an annual benchmarking and recognition program that works to assess current recruiting practices in order to identify and celebrate those outstanding strategies that provide job candidates with a consistent and positive experience. Since its inception, the CandE Awards has grown significantly, from 24 winners in the inaugural event in 2011, to recognizing 64 organizations as winners in the 2013 program.

"As organizations seek to recruit, engage and retain talent, offering a positive and rewarding experience is often a key differentiator for today's candidates. The Candidate Experience Awards are successfully working to measure the value of the candidate experience as well as provide a standard that organizations can implement and improve upon," said Mark Newman, founder and CEO of HireVue. "HireVue recognizes that recruiting is in the midst of a total transformation and developed the Talent Interaction Platform to improve the interview process in order to let candidates tell their story and demonstrate their talents. The goals of our organization continue to mirror those of Talent Board, and we are eager to offer our support to the CandE Awards once again."

In 2013, the Candidate Experience Awards evaluated survey responses from 46,000 candidates who applied to approximately 95 forward-thinking companies. The expansive response from companies and candidates alike highlights the growing importance that both parties place on the candidate experience. There is no other study that examines feedback of that magnitude on the candidate experience.

Ed Newman, vice president of Strategy for iMomentous and board member of Talent Board, commented, "HireVue has been with the CandE Awards since the beginning, helping us promote the need for modern recruiting practices with a focus on candidates. We welcome HireVue as a returning sponsor and look forward to further growing the program with their support."
