Hit Man David Foster Offers Special Chevy Pace Car in Fundraising Event

Sweepstakes Contest to Help Educate Public About Organ Registration Through Grammy Winner's David Foster Foundation

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 18, 2011) - David Foster, the 16-time Grammy-winning producer, songwriter and showman, is giving away a rare limited 2011 Indy 500 Chevy Convertible Camaro pace car which precedes all the other cars at the race. The Camaro is an exact and limited edition replica of the official car that has been chosen to pace at this year's Indianapolis 500. Foster is also scheduled to perform the National Anthem with Seal at the start of this year's Indy 500 which will be broadcast in over 200 countries. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the first Indianapolis 500 which is scheduled to take place on May 29th, 2011.

Foster's David Foster Foundation has teamed up with "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" and Chevrolet -- also celebrating its centennial year -- to help raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and registration. The contest will help educate and encourage Americans to make the decision to become registered organ donors in their own state and/or make a donation either by text message or online at www.beadonorsavealife.com. Beadonorsavealife.com also has instructions on how to enter the contest to win the Camaro pace car.

The Foundation has put together a truck and trailer road show, which stopped off at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach this past weekend, in order to promote the contest. Foster and the Chevy Camaro pace car is scheduled to come to Los Angeles the week of April 18th. "We are committed to educating the public about registering to become organ donors in their community. This decision could help save a life someday -- maybe yours," commented Foundation Chairman David Foster. "More than 100,000 men, women and children currently need life-saving organ transplants," he concluded. For more information about The David Foster Foundation, go to www.davidfosterfoundation.com.
