HIT Technologies Reports 80 Million Audience and 6.4 Million Impressions From Discovery Channel Live Stream

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - August 26, 2016) - HIT Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE: HIT) ("HIT" or the "Company"), designs, develops, manufactures and distributes the world's most advanced adventure products for iPhone under the brand HITCASE. With an iPhone encased in the high-performing waterproof HITCASE PRO, the Vancouver-based team has successfully broadcasted a live stream shark dive off the coast of Florida for Discovery Channel's Shark Week.

The Hitcase team recently orchestrated an underwater live stream broadcast with shark ecologist and filmmaker Rob Stewart, Director of the film Sharkwater. Wearing a mounted Hitcase, Rob and the team streamed breathtaking live footage while free diving in known shark habitat. After a successful and engaging event for followers of the Discovery Channel's Shark Week, LUSH Cosmetics, Sea Shepherd, and Hitcase, the educational and interactive live stream was then picked up for a second dive and live broadcast on Discovery's main Facebook page with 42 Million Followers.

Equipped with his Hitcase protected iPhone 6s and a custom built underwater streaming system developed by HIT, Stewart was able to stream his free dive with the sharks to multiple social media platforms. Using Facebook Live and Twitter's Periscope, our Shark Week live stream broadcast exposed HITCASE to 80 Million people, received over 80,000 comments, 4500 shares and over 6.4 million impressions over 2 days.

"We are really excited to share these details in the aftermath of our Shark Week adventure, it was an incredible success and a lot of fun," said HITCASE Founder and CEO Brooks Bergreen. "A huge thanks to our fan base and supporters, Rob, and The Discovery Channel, without all of them, this huge achievement wouldn't have been possible."

As proud supporters of the ocean advocacy group Oceana, HITCASE encourages all Shark Week viewers to get actively involved in the non-profit's global shark conservation campaigns by going to oceana.org/join.
