HiveFire CEO to Help Marketers Understand and Implement Content Curation at Content Marketing World

Findings From Company's B2B Marketing Trends Survey Will Be Unveiled at Event

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - Aug 30, 2011) - HiveFire, Inc., an online content marketing technology company, today announced that CEO Pawan Deshpande will lead an informative session at Content Marketing World, taking place Sept. 6-8 in Cleveland, Ohio. During his presentation, "Constructing a Powerful Content Curation Formula for Your Brand," Deshpande will provide an overview on the growing practice of content curation -- the process of finding, organizing and sharing online content -- to support marketing goals and explain its key benefits, which include establishing thought leadership, improving SEO and increasing brand visibility.

HiveFire's 2011 Content Curation Adoption Survey found that 48 percent of marketers now implement content curation as part of their marketing strategies, and almost 85 percent of those not currently using content curation had unknowingly started down that route by sending an article, blog post or other content to a prospect to help win business. The session, taking place on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 11:15 a.m., will clarify what curation is -- and what it is not -- and provide concrete examples of how companies have successfully leveraged it. Deshpande will also draw on key insights from his company's 5 Simple Steps to Becoming a Content Curation Rockstar e-book.

"Content curation has helped make content marketing the rockstar of many brands' marketing programs because it is easy, affordable and effective," said Deshpande. "But it is still so new that many marketers need some guidance understanding what, exactly, it is and how they can use it to meet goals in alignment with broader initiatives. Content Marketing World is the preeminent event for forward-thinking marketers paying attention to the value of content for engaging audiences, and I am pleased to be a part of its agenda."

In addition to Deshpande's session, HiveFire will also issue the results of its B2B Marketing Trends 2011 survey from the event. The findings will not only shed light on current B2B marketing tactics and best practices, but also uncover the roles that content marketing and curation play in marketing strategies both now and into the future. Deshpande will be available to discuss the findings with interested media, and a complete report will be made available for download on the company's website.

Content Marketing World is the premier international content marketing event. Through over 30 breakout sessions and keynotes, the event provides marketers with the tools they need to be a successful content marketer by engaging prospects and customers in all the right channels with the right messages -- including social, mobile, email, online and even print and in-person strategies. In addition to Deshpande, this year's agenda includes keynotes from the "godfather of content marketing" Joe Pulizzi and The New York Times' David Pogue, as well as insight from bestselling author David Meerman Scott, Online Marketing Institute Founder Aaron Kahlow, and Joe Chernov, vice president of content marketing with Eloqua.
