HiveFire to Host Webinar to Help Marketers Get Started With Content Curation and Content Marketing in 5 Simple Steps

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - Apr 13, 2011) - A recent HiveFire survey of over 150 marketing professionals found that almost 42 percent of marketers are familiar with content curation -- the process of finding, organizing and sharing online content -- yet they do not currently implement it. Understanding that starting a new marketing program can be a significant challenge, HiveFire has joined forces with the American Marketing Association (AMA) to host a webinar with specific steps for incorporating content curation and content marketing into a larger marketing strategy.

Content curation has emerged as a hot topic among marketers in 2011. In fact, the HiveFire survey found 69 percent of marketers felt content curation is more important today than it was a year ago, and the same percentage said it will be more important a year from now.

The webinar, to be held Thursday, April 21 at 1:00pm ET, will give participants a clear understanding of content curation and marketing; why they have become increasingly important marketing strategies; and how to use them to make a measurable impact on business. Joining Deshpande will be Joe Pulizzi, a leading author, speaker and content marketing strategist who founded the Content Marketing Institute and client-vendor matching site Junta42. As part of the discussion, the following questions will be answered:
