HiveFire Launches LinkedIn® Group: Content Curators

Professional Forum for Content Curation Best Practices and Insights

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - Jul 20, 2011) - HiveFire, Inc., the content marketing solution provider and maker of Curata today announced the official launch of its LinkedIn group, Content Curators. Designed as a professional group for LinkedIn members who find, organize and share content to support their organization's objectives, Content Curators serves as a forum to discuss content curation best practices, helpful tips, industry solutions and overall insight into content curation and content marketing.

Social media has become a key element in the content marketing mix, particularly because it is instrumental in building and engaging communities online through real-time dialogue. And it is clear that marketers who have embraced content curation have creatively integrated social channels into their curation practices: according to HiveFire's February 2011 Curation Adoption Survey, 79 percent of content curators distribute content via social media channels -- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs and more. The LinkedIn Content Curators group is another opportunity for marketers to both share best practices and tap into new content through a social channel.
