HMSG Transforms Business Operations Into Natural Resources Company

DEL MAR, CA--(Marketwire - February 21, 2008) - Colonel Jeffrey Powers (USMC retired) announced today that Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG) has accepted a proposal to transform the business operations into a natural resources exploration company effectively immediately. A new management team will take over the day-to-day operations of the company pending customary due diligence of the proposed new business. "After reviewing the state of the business operations of HMSG and capital requirements necessary to build a revenue stream I have determined that it is in the best interest of the shareholders to transform our business plan into the natural resources sector. I have been in negotiations with a management group and have reviewed their business plan and believe their approach stand the highest liklihood of building a solid foundation for shareholder value," commented Colonel Powers.

The new team will be in place shortly and is expected to formally announce the new company direction in the near future.
