"Holiday Celebrations in Glass" -- Art Studio to Open Doors for Show and Sale Featuring Michigan Made Glassware

December 3rd & 4th Weekend Sale Will Feature Michigan Made Glass Products and Live Glassblowing Demonstrations

DEARBORN, MI--(Marketwire - Nov 10, 2011) - Artists at the Glass Academy open their studio doors in celebration of the Holidays, showcasing live glassblowing demonstrations and unique hand crafted glass for sale in Dearborn, MI. "Holiday Celebrations in Glass" takes place December 3rd & 4th from 10am-6pm. Admission is free for this all ages show featuring many mid-range items from $35-$150 along with options for custom orders. The show takes place at the Glass Academy,, located at 25331 Trowbridge, near Gulley Road and Michigan Avenue in West Dearborn.

"New this year will be our signature Snowman. This was a big hit last year during our live glassblowing demonstrations when he first appeared," comments Louis Sanchez, one of the glassblowing team members.

Other items for sale include our seasoned favorites such as signature ornaments, candy canes, and decorative bowls.

A special preview party will be held on December 1st, from 6-8pm with delicious seasonal foods from Cacao Tree Cafe, first pick of new works, and a chance to mingle with the artists.
