Holiday Cheer Begins Early

MultiPlan Now Accepting Submissions for 2007 Holiday Card Program

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 21, 2007) - MultiPlan, Inc., the nation's oldest and largest supplier of independent, network-based cost management solutions, announced today it is now accepting submissions for its annual Holiday Card Program. As one of MultiPlan's most popular initiatives, the Holiday Card Program collects holiday drawings from pediatric patients in participating MultiPlan hospitals and hosts a vote on its website. The five drawings that receive the most votes are made into holiday greeting cards, courtesy of MultiPlan. All hospitals that submitted drawings receive a supply of cards for use in fundraising, at holiday events and to sell in their gift shops.

"We're enormously proud of this program," says Kate Mathison, Senior Vice President of Network Development for MultiPlan. "Since 1996 it's given us a way to make the experience for hospitalized children a little more pleasant, and participation for our member hospitals a little more special."

To be eligible for this contest, entries must be received by Friday, August 31, 2007. Voting will take place on MultiPlan's website at http://www.multiplan.com/providers/holidaycardprogram.cfm September 17 - 21 and winners will be announced on October 8th.

In addition to the Holiday Card Program, MultiPlan provides participating hospitals with battery-operated cars through its Toy Car Program, and issues grants to qualifying hospitals through its Rural Health Outreach Grant Program.
