Holistic MBA Joins Health Coach Institute, Providing Unprecedented Training and Tools to Lead a New Movement of Health Coaching Throughout the World

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - January 26, 2016) - Holistic MBA announces today that it has joined Health Coach Institute, the newly launched umbrella company housing groundbreaking health coach training programs developed by Carey Peters and Stacey Morgenstern. The dynamic pair of successful health coaches have collectively trained over 8,000 coaches in 27 countries for the past decade. Health Coach Institute provides programming for the aspiring and established health coaches rooted in the science of habit change. Curriculum covers nutrition, health and wellness education, transformational coaching skills training, personal growth and proven business and marketing systems.

Noticing a gaping hole in the coach training industry, Peters and Morgenstern identified that one-size-fits-all training programs lacked specific application to the wellness industry, or skipped over key essentials needed to build a thriving health coaching practice. "We noticed that health coaches were struggling after being pumped full of content knowledge without actually being trained in skills needed to deliver powerful coaching," said Co-Founder Stacey Morgenstern. "We also saw that without the proper business training, many coaches were discouraged when it came to putting their knowledge into practice. Our programs are designed to bridge that gap."

A testament to the success of the program, long time health and wellness advocate, former NBA champion and TV and radio host, John Salley, has become an active enthusiast for the program and has enrolled in HCI for the January term. Salley says this about the program: "I was drawn to HCI not only because of their unique curriculum based on the science of habit change, but also because of the support they provide to their students. More HCI graduates continue to become successful health coaches than any other program."

Health and wellness coaching continues to be one of the hottest areas of growth in fitness and healthy living, as documented by the American College of Sports Medicine in their ninth annual Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends. In order to meet the growing demand for health coaches, the Health Coach Institute suite of programs includes a 6-month "Become a Health Coach Training," which teaches the fundamentals of effective health coaching. Students can also access graduate training through "Holistic MBA" which teaches health coaches how to take their business to the next level. All programs are specifically grounded in in the science of change and brain-based coaching. Health Coach Institute will also be launching CoachLeads, the first-of-its-kind digital marketing platform which powers health coaches to build and run profitable businesses. With CoachLeads, students can simply build websites and run online marketing campaigns, streamlining the costs associated with building their brand online. "At Health Coach Institute, we are devoted not just to teaching the subject matter expertise, but teaching people how to work as a health coach. CoachLeads is just one more example of our commitment to this idea. We are very excited to roll this out to the market and power the next generation of health coaches," said Co-Founder Carey Peters.
